Sriracha Caramel Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

1 lb Brussels Sprouts (trimmed and halved)

1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Sea Salt (to taste)

2 Garlic (cloves)

2 tbsps Maple Syrup

1 tbsp Sriracha Sauce

Directions

1) Preheat your oven to 400°F (218°C). Spray baking sheet with cooking spray and wash and pat dry the brussel sprouts.

2) Meanwhile, make the caramel sauce by combining the maple syrup and sriracha sauce in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.

3) Add the brussel sprouts to large bowl. Drizzle with the olive oil and add fresh minced garlic and sea salt to taste. Toss to combine, then place in a single layer on baking sheet and cook for 15-20 minutes (until desired browned color).

4) Remove the brussel sprouts from the oven and cover with sriracha/syrup combination, tossing to coat.

5) Place in the oven to bake mixture into the brussels (5 more minutes).

6) Let cool and enjoy!

Notes

Leftovers: Keep leftovers in the fridge in a sealed container up to 3 days.

No Olive Oil: Use avocado oil or grapeseed oil instead.
