Our Story
The Story of Behind the Name

The name Ladybug has deep personal meaning: it was a childhood nickname given to Jamie by her late mother. When Jamie began studying nutrition, she discovered that ladybugs play an essential role in farming by protecting crops from harmful pests. A single ladybug can consume up to 5,000 plant-damaging insects in its lifetime, acting as a natural guardian for growing plants.
I love that ladybugs are such fierce protectors of the plants they help thrive. It feels fitting—and a little magical—that the name connects so well with my own mission: supporting people in nourishing themselves with healthy, nutrient-rich foods.
